Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that can inhibit the gold concentration in a solution after leaching in time progress from dropping after gold is leached out of a sulfide mineral.SOLUTION: This method for leaching gold out the sulfide mineral or out of residual dross (hereinafter, referred to as a "raw material") after leaching is processed to the sulfide mineral, includes a process to leach a gold component out of a raw material by contacting acidic water solution containing chlorine ion, bromine ion, copper ion, and iron ion with the material under the supply of an oxidizing agent, and to keep the bromine ion concentration in the acidic water solution, out of which gold has been leached, to 40 g/L or higher and the oxidation-reduction potential to 500 mV (vs. Ag/AgCl) or higher.
