Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for limiting wear of electric motor brushes of an electric or hybrid vehicle, comprising: a step (100) of estimating the wear of said brushes (w); and a step (200) of limiting a maximum mechanical power authorised for said motor according to said estimated wear of said brushes (w) on the basis of a threshold of wear of said brushes (ws), characterised in that said wear threshold (ws), beyond which said mechanical power limitation is effected, depends on the cumulated time of use of said brushes.
