Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of buckling even if achieving thinning of a wall of the bottle can.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a bottle can comprises: a DI pressing process in which re-drawing and ironing, and a bottom formation processing are performed for a cup-shaped blank which is formed from a metal plate by drawing processing, thereby molding a bottomed cylindrical body on which a bottom and a cylindrical part are formed; a bottle neck formation process in which a diameter of an upper end side portion of the cylindrical part of the bottomed cylindrical body is reduced, whereby a shoulder 6 and a neck part 7, of which a diameter is further reduced as approaching an upper end side from the shoulder 6, are formed; and a cap fitting part formation process in which a cap fitting part is formed at an upper end part of the neck part 7. In the bottle neck formation process, the neck part 7 is formed by gradually reducing a diameter of a portion from the shoulder 6 to the upper end side a plurality number of times.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
