Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a can which can stably secure height accuracy in a can axial direction while bottom reform processing is performed at a can bottom so as to satisfy weight saving of the can and stabilization of the sealed state.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a can comprises: a bottom reform process S09 which performs bottom reform processing to at least one of an inner peripheral wall and an outer peripheral wall in an annular projection part projecting from an opening end part of a can body along a can axis direction to a can bottom in the can bottom of the bottomed cylindrical can including the can body and the can bottom; and a trimming process S12 which performs trimming processing at the opening end part of the can body. The trimming process S12 is performed after the bottom reform process S09.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
