Abstract:

PURPOSE: To extract wonderful taste and aroma intrinsic to coffee beans.

CONSTITUTION: A cup 10 has a wall 12 with a pouring hole in the inside upper part thereof and handles 11 on both sides. Coffee beans are put into a mortar 20 and beaten with a pestle 30 to grind. A mixture of various sizes of pieces and powder of coffee beans is obtained which is put into the cup 10 and boiling water about half of the cup is poured. Leaving with a lid on to steam for several tens seconds, and more boiling water is poured and the lid placed and steamed for a couple of minutes. Then, extracted coffee liquid is poured out from the pouring hole, and is ready to drink.
