Abstract:
To suppress defective casting around a heavy object in performing insert casting of the heavy object into a sole part.SOLUTION: In a bottom drawing of a casting mold, rectangular coordinates taking the centroid of a gate 21 as an origin O, a straight line passing through the origin O and a centroid G2 of a heavy object 10 as a y axis, a straight line orthogonal to the y axis as an x axis, and a straight line orthogonal to the y axis and the x axis as a z axis are defined. A contour shape of the heavy object 10 at any position on the z axis includes a first point P1 positioned nearest to the origin O and a second point P2 positioned farthest from the origin O. The first point P1 and the second point P2 are positioned on the y axis or in a range from the y axis within 20% of a maximum dimension W in the direction of the x axis of the contour shape of the heavy object 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
