To provide a method for manufacturing an outer vessel of super-conductive magnet for a magnetic levitation type railroad which is simple, rigid, and of low cost.
The manufacturing method includes a first case element 21 on the side facing a ground coil, a second case element 22 facing the side opposite to the ground coil, a third case element 23 disposed front, a fourth case element 24 disposed in the rear, a fifth case element 25 disposed on the upper surface, and a sixth case element 26 disposed on the bottom surface. A metal forcing-piece 28 which is harder than the material of the first to sixth case elements is pressurized against the abutting part where the first to sixth case elements are abutted together, and by moving the metal forcing-piece 28 while rotating, the first to the sixth case elements are jointed together by the frictional heat.
