Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a rotor for an electric motor that can reduce damage to a seat when a magnet is inserted into a through hole.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a rotor for an electric motor including a rotor core 2c, a magnet 6, and a seat 8. The rotor core includes a through hole 2h extending along an axial direction. The magnet is inserted into the through hole. The sheet is arranged between an inner surface 2i of the through hole and the magnet. The method includes a sheet insertion step of passing the sheet through the through hole, and a magnet insertion step of inserting the magnet into the through hole while pulling the sheet from both sides in the axial direction to apply tension to the sheet and pressing the sheet against the inner surface. Due to the application of tension to the sheet, the sheet is stretched in the axial direction of the rotor core, and the surface of the sheet becomes smooth. The magnet slides smoothly on the surface of the sheet and is inserted into the through hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
