Abstract:
To suppress trouble that can occur when a sheet with a sheet joint portion is subjected to a drawing treatment between a pair of grooved rolls.SOLUTION: The method for producing an extensible sheet comprises: a drawing step of supplying a base material sheet 10 to an engaging portion of a pair of grooved rolls 2 and 3 and applying pressing force to at least one of the rolls 2 and 3 to subject the base material sheet 10 to a drawing treatment between the pair of grooved rolls 2 and 3; a pulling-out step of pulling out the base material sheet 10a which has been subjected to the drawing treatment from the pair of grooved rolls 2 and 3 while tension is applied on the drawn base material sheet in the conveyance direction Y; and, in addition, a sheet jointing step of jointing the base material sheet 10A to an another base material sheet 10B via a joint portion 61 at the jointed position located on the upstream side in the conveyance direction Y with respect to both the rolls 2 and 3. In the drawing step, in response to the supply of the joint portion 61 to the engaging portion of both the rolls 2 and 3, the pressing force is reduced as compared with the pressing force that is applied to other portions of the base material sheet 10 during the drawing treatment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
