Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a hose with a protector, which is equipped with both an inner tube formed of resin and an outer tube for the protector consisting of elastomer. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the hose with a protector, an inner tube 10 having a straight cylindrical part 10a and a bellowslike part 10b is extruded. A straight cylindrical outer tube 11 is continuously extruded on the outer circumference of the inner tube 10. After the produced composite hose is cut, the cut composite hose is vulcanized and bending is simultaneously performed in accordance with necessity. Rubber material 11a of the outer tube 11 is prevented from being penetrated into the recessed part of the bellowslike part 10b of the inner tube 10 by projecting the tip 33a used for extrusion of the outer tube 11 from a die 34.
