Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing rotor for high-speed rotary machine which assures, with the simplified processes, excellent rotating balance and alleviates labor for maintenance. SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a rotor 110 for high-speed rotary machine provided with shrink ring 116 for preventing splashing of magnet 114 for rotor comprises a process (RS4) for cooling a rotor shaft 112 to the predetermined temperature, a process (SR4) for cooling the magnet 114 for rotor to the predetermined temperature (RM3) and loading the cooled magnet 114 for rotor within the shrink ring 116 and a process (R1) for loading the magnet 114 for rotor loaded to the shrink ring 116 to the cooled rotor shaft 112. In this case, when a carbon-fiber reinforced plastic is used as the material of the shrink ring 116, such material is just suitable as the material of shrink ring of rotor for high-speed rotary machine. Moreover, when the liquid nitrogen is used as the coolant for cooling the rotor shaft 112 and rotor magnet 114, the manufacturing cost can be saved and safe and simplified manufacturing process can be realized.
