Abstract:
To enable highly accurate measurement of a center position of a rotation axis with simple calculation even in the case of a machine tool with a limited working range of a translation axis.SOLUTION: The method includes: determining a B axis at a reference angle to measure an initial position of a target sphere in S1 and calculating a reference angle of a C axis in S2; determining the C axis at the reference angle in a state of the B axis at the reference angle to measure a center position Q2 of the target sphere in S3, determining the C axis at a first determined angle in a state of the B axis at the reference angle to measure a center position Q3 in S4 and determining the C axis at a second determined angle in a state of the B axis at the reference angle to measure a center position Q4 in S5; determining the C axis at a third determined angle to measure a center position Q5 with the B axis at a revolving angle in S6; calculating a center position of the C axis using the measurement values in the Q2 and the Q4 in S7 and rotatably converting the measurement value in the Q3 using the center position of the C axis to measure a position V1 which is out of working range of a translation axis in S8; and calculating a center position of the B axis using the virtual position V1 and a measurement value Q5 in S9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
