Abstract:
To provide a blast furnace shaft blowing apparatus capable of supplying a large amount of heated reducing gas to a shaft part of a blast furnace without hindering the reduction reaction of iron in the blast furnace so as to realize highly efficient commercial operation of the blast furnace, and to provide a method for operating the blast furnace shaft blowing apparatus.SOLUTION: A blast furnace stove system 1 includes: a plurality of blast furnace stoves 4 for a blowing process in which heated reducing gas is blown and a combustion process for burning a fuel gas to store the heat; a reducing gas supply main pipe 10 for supplying the reducing gas heated in the blast furnace stoves 4 to the shaft part of the blast furnace 2; flue pipes 44 for discharging the combustion exhaust gas which is generated in the combustion process and remaining in the blast furnace stoves 4; and combustion pressure adjustment valves 443 attached to the flue pipes 44 for adjusting the pressure in the blast furnace stoves 4. When switching from the combustion process to the blowing process, the blast furnace stoves 4 perform an exchanging process for exchanging the combustion exhaust gas remaining in the blast furnace stoves 4 with the reducing gas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
