Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating a high-pressure pump of a filter press type dewatering equipment which facilitates the operation of the equipment, such as measuring instruments, of the filter press type dewatering equipment by simplifying such equipment, is capable of uniforming the moisture content of a cake after dewatering the dredging surplus soil having the characteristic liable to change time serially, dredging surplus soil, sewer sludge, the surplus soil containing the water generated in construction work, or the like, and makes the easy discrimination of the abnormal state of the filter press possible. SOLUTION: The method for operating the high-pressure pump 12 of the filter press type dewatering equipment by force feeding a raw liquid by a low-pressure pump in an initial period of dewatering using the filter press type dewatering equipment 10 and force feeding the raw liquid to the filter press type dewatering equipment 10 from the high-pressure pump 12, in which the moving time of a piston 21a of the high-pressure pump 12 is previously set and the dewatering is completed by stopping the operation of the high-pressure pump 12 at the point of time when the moving time of the piston 21a is longer than the set moving time of the piston 21a of the high-pressure pump 12.
