Abstract:

To efficiently perform micro simulation in a short time in performing simulation of a heterogeneous material on a computer using a simulation model of the heterogeneous material wherein a plurality of material phases of different material characteristics are dispersedly arranged.

An internal variable value 2 specifying material characteristics unique to the plurality of material phases in the heterogeneous material, and an internal variable value 1 specifying the material characteristics by reducing the ratio of a minimum value to a maximum value of a material constant of the material phase corresponding to the simulation model of the heterogeneous material, are prepared. The internal variable value 1 is then given to the simulation model, and simulation is performed giving distortion as input into a predetermined position of the simulation model comprising the material characteristic specified by the internal variable value 1. The internal variable value 2 is given to the deformed simulation model at this time while holding the input to continue simulation calculation.
