Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for operating a winding unit and a winding machine. The thread tension is set by means of a thread tensioner (14) and a take-off accelerator (45) is lowered with the take-off process over the cone yarn (9). According to the invention, the thread tension is controlled in a closed loop manner by means of a yarn tension sensor (20) at a reference winding unit(2'), wherein the thread tensioner (14) is set according to measured values of the yarn tension sensor (20), the adjustment of the thread tensioner (14) at the reference winding unit (2') is detectedand stored in dependence on the position of the take-off accelerator (45), and at the winding unit (2) the thread tensioner (14) is set by means of the stored values according to the position of thetake-off accelerator (45).
