Abstract:
To provide a vacuum dryer capable of reducing noise from a vacuum pump, reducing cost thereof, and preventing a specimen from being contaminated due to a continuous operation of the vacuum pump.SOLUTION: The vacuum dryer comprises a vacuum chamber 12 storing a specimen to be dried, a vacuum pump 14 decompressing the vacuum chamber 12 via an exhaust passage 13, a cold trap 15 disposed in the exhaust passage 13, and a solenoid valve 16 disposed between the cold trap 15 present in the exhaust passage 13 and the vacuum pump 14 to perform an open/close action when the vacuum pump 14 is in operation. A specimen is heated and dried under vacuum.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
