Abstract:
To provide a plastic molded product coating method by which even if a coating method with 3 coats and 1 bake is adopted, a multi-layer coating film, which has high lightness, excellent finish appearance, sagging resistance, armpit resistance and water resistance, can be formed on a plastic molded product while achieving reduction of VOC by use of an aqueous paint.SOLUTION: A plastic molded product coating method by which a plastic molded product is coated with an aqueous white primer, an aqueous interference color base coat paint, and a clear coat paint sequentially, and formed coating films of three layers are simultaneously baked and cured. In the method, the aqueous white primer contains an aqueous polyolefin resin, an aqueous acrylic resin, a polyester resin, a melamine resin, a block polyisocyanate compound, a diester compound, and a while pigment, a viscosity when heating the aqueous white primer during 3 minutes at 60°C falls within a range of 100 to 1000 Pas, and water absorption percentage of the white primer layer is 50% by mass or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
