Abstract:
To provide a method by which occurrence of inner crack in rolling can be quantitatively predicted.SOLUTION: This method is a prediction method for occurrence of inner crack in rolling for reducing an outer diameter of a work-piece of a round rod shape while rotating the work-piece around a shaft center. This prediction method includes: a process in which ductile fracture conditional expression, which is represented by the following formulae (A) and (B), is determined; a process in which a damage value F is determined by the ductile fracture conditional expression; and a process in which occurrence of internal crack in the work-piece is predicted on the basis of the damage value F.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
