To provide a method capable of preparing concrete which simultaneously satisfies the functions (1) to (5): (1) suppression of an increase in the amount of a high-performance water reducer or a high-performance AE water reducer used to attain necessary fluidity, (2) prevention of loss of fluidity (slump loss) with time, (3) suppression of an increase in the amount of an AE agent used to attain a necessary entrained air amount, (4) impartment of high resistance to freeze-thaw to the obtained set body, and (5) impartation of sufficient strengths to the obtained set body, even when fly ash containing a high concentration of unburnt carbon is used in concrete preparation.
In preparing concrete by using fly ash containing a high concentration of unburnt carbon, a specified admixture being to contain a specified graft copolymer and/or a salt thereof, a specified organic amine/ethylene oxide adduct, and a specified organic phosphoric acid ester in a specified ratio is used in an amount of 0.1-3 pts.mass per 100 pts.mass cement.
