Abstract:
To provide a method for highly cleaning contaminated soil and ground water which is excellent in acceleration of decomposition of VOC by anaerobic bacteria such as DHC group bacteria.
The method for cleaning contaminated soil and ground water decomposes organic chlorine compounds by feeding a cleaning material containing one or more of compounds selected from groups consisting of alkali metal salts of hydrogencarbonate, carboxylic acid and alkali metal salts of carboxylic acid to soil or ground water.
