Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering gold from ore or refining intermediate, capable of contributing reduction of treatment cost by reducing used amount of agents during cleaning of active charcoal or elution of gold with suppressing unintended adsorption of copper and/or iron to the active charcoal after leaching gold.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for recovering gold from ore or refining intermediate containing gold, having a process for contacting a raw material containing gold obtained from the ore or the refining intermediate and an acidic aqueous solution containing a copper ion, an iron ion and a halide ion under supply of an oxidant and impregnating a gold component in the raw material, in which the halide ion in the acidic aqueous solution contains at least a bromide ion in the process for impregnating the gold component in the raw material, concentration of the bromide ion is 50 g/L or more, liquid temperature of the acidic aqueous solution when the gold component is impregnated is 40°C or less and the gold is selectively impregnated while suppressing copper or iron from leaching from the ore or the refining intermediate.SELECTED DRAWING: None
