Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recover method of high quality rhodium capable of recovering only rhodium powder without passing through a solvent extraction process.SOLUTION: There is provided a recovery method of high quality rhodium powder for depositing and separation rhodium from a poor soluble residue containing platinum group metal to recover the same, having a reduction roasting process S11 for reduction roasting the poor soluble residue, a sulfuric acid leaching process S12 for sulfuric acid leaching a roasted product obtained in the reduction roasting process S11, a dissolving process S13 for dissolving a leached residue obtained in the sulfuric acid leaching process S12, hydrochloric acid and hydrogen peroxide water, a caking process S14 for caking a dissolution liquid obtained in the dissolving process S13, and a rhodium purification process S15 for obtaining a rhodium block from a deposit obtained in the caking process S14, potassium chloride is added and rhodium is deposited and separated as potassium rhodium chloride in the caking process S14, caustic soda is added to the potassium rhodium chloride and rhodium is deposited and separated as rhodium hydroxide in the rhodium purification process S15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
