Title:
廃棄物からの白金族金属の回収方法
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP5021331
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for recovering a platinum group metal from a waste containing a platinum group metal such as iridium. This method comprises a step wherein an easily water-soluble chloride of a platinum group metal is obtained by reacting a platinum group metal contained in a waste with chlorine in a molten salt composed of sodium chloride or in a molten salt composed of sodium chloride and potassium chloride, and then an aqueous solution of the platinum group metal is obtained by mixing the molten salt after the reaction with water for solid-liquid separation. In this connection, the molten salt is preferably composed of sodium chloride and potassium chloride, while containing not less than 50 mol% of sodium chloride. More preferably, the molten salt is composed of 75-90 mol% of sodium chloride and 10-25 mol% of potassium chloride.
