To provide a method for recovering an amine solution by which the amine solution containing thermally stable amine salt can efficiently be recovered by a simple apparatus and operation, an ion-exchange resin having adsorbed a hardly degradable component formed out of the thermally stable amine salt can be effectively recovered, and also the recovered waste liquid treatment can stably and easily be carried out in high efficiency.

The method for recovering the amine solution is carried out by installing a plurality of ion-exchanging devices 2 so as to be accompanied with a gas-purification device 1, installing a resin-recovering device 3 and a recovered waste liquid-treating device 4 as a recovering center at a site remote from the ion-exchanging devices 2, transporting a cation-exchanging unit 5 and an anion-exchanging unit 6 in detachably exchangeable types so as to come and go between the ion-exchanging device 2 and the resin-recovering device 3, allowing cations and anions contained in the amine solution to be adsorbed by the cation-exchanging unit 5 and the anion-exchanging unit 6 respectively by attaching them to the ion-exchanging device 2, desorbing the ions therefrom, transporting the desorbed units to the resin-recovering device 3 to recover the resins, and recovering the recovered waste liquid by the recovered waste liquid-treating device 4.
