To provide a method for removing an amino acid-iron complex salt from an amine fluid which can effectively remove an amino-iron complex salt from the amine fluid including the amino acid-iron complex salt by a simply device and operation, thereby preventing a filler from clogging due to the deposition of an iron carbonate by decomposing the amino acid iron complex salt, and can prevent iron from corroding by a freed amino acid.
In the method comprising bringing an acidic gas into contact with an amine fluid in an absorption column 1, subjecting the formed rich amine fluid to primary regeneration in a primary regeneration column 2, and passing part of the formed lean amine fluid through a cation-exchange column 11 and an anion-exchange column 12 to conduct secondary regeneration, the amine fluid including an amino acid-iron complex salt is passed through a cation-exchange resin layer 13 to remove free cations and furthermore passed through an anion-exchange resin layer 14 to remove the amino acid-iron complex salt and an acid component anion.
