Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably and easily remove viscous substances such as dewatered sludge adhering to a conveying belt during drying processing of viscous substances such as dehydrated sludge.SOLUTION: Provided is a band-type dryer 1 in which a viscous substance molded by a molding machine 5 is supplied onto an air-permeable endlessly circulating conveying belt 3a, and warm air 6 is blown in an upward or downward direction from hot air supply means 7 to the viscous substance on the conveying belt 3a to dry the viscous substance on the conveying belt 3a, and in which the viscous substance adhering to the belt surface after folding back of the conveying belt 3a is detected by detection means 8, and based on a detection signal from the detection means 8, hot air 6' is supplied by hot air supply means 9 and the hot air 6' is blown against the viscous substance adhering to the belt surface after folding back of the conveying belt 3a, such that the viscous substance is ignited or gasified into carbide 2d, and the carbide 2d is scraped off with carbide scraping means 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
