Abstract:
To provide a picking apparatus which holds parts in various attitudes with a holder.SOLUTION: A picking apparatus for scattered parts includes: a part supporting member that supports a plurality of parts in a scattered state; a work head that selectively holds one type of holder from among a plurality of types of holders which hold the plurality of parts one by one, respectively; a moving device that moves the work head onto the part supporting member; and a control device. The control device acquires positions of a plurality of parts on the basis of image data of a plurality of parts that are supported on an upper surface of the part supporting member, which have been imaged from above along a vertical axis; and operates the moving device on the basis of the acquired position information of the plurality of parts; when one type of holder held by the work head holds one of the plurality of parts, determines whether or not the one type of holder interferes with another part than the one part; and when having determined that the one type of holder interferes, automatically exchanges the holder with another type of holder which can hold the part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
