PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating Pd and Se from each other, with high purity, in waste fluid containing metal, where Pd and Se can be collected as the metal by electrolysis.SOLUTION: A method for separating Pd and Se from each other includes a metal dissolution step for dissolving metal containing at least Pd and Se, collected from waste fluid containing the metal, with acid solution, a first solvent extraction step of extracting Pd with a predetermined extraction solvent, and a second solvent extraction step of extracting Se with a predetermined extraction solvent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
