Abstract:
To set various properties of a vibration controller so that one vibration mode or any one of a plurality of vibration modes is optimally synchronized or optimally attenuated, in a structure having the one or more vibration modes.SOLUTION: A method for setting various properties of D.M. synchronization systems 1, 2, 3 and 4, which are provided in a building 100 having one or more vibration modes and have an inertial mass element, an attenuation element and a rigidity element, comprises setting various properties of the inertial mass element, the attenuation element and the rigidity element using an optimal synchronization type, an optimal attenuation type, one of an additional rigidity ratio or an additional weight ratio, and an optimal viscosity attenuation constant so that the one vibration mode or any one of the plurality of vibration modes is optimally synchronized and optimally attenuated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 73
