Abstract:
To enable excessive power consumption of an air conditioner at the start of operation thereof to be curbed by limiting an output upper limit value of a compressor of the air conditioner at the start of operation thereof and appropriately updating the output upper limit value.SOLUTION: A method for starting operation of an air conditioner and a control device: acquire a room temperature of a control space to be an object of air-conditioning control of the air conditioner at the start of operation thereof; calculate a temperature difference between the room temperature acquired at the start of the operation of the air conditioner and a set temperature thereof; control the operation of the air conditioner within a limit level limiting an output upper limit value of a compressor of the air conditioner during a predetermined target period from the start of the operation thereof; monitor the room temperature; acquires required time until the room temperature reaches a target temperature related to the set temperature; and update the limit level on the basis of the temperature difference and the required time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
