To realize the convenience of a totalizing operation by making it possible to perform data writing corresponding to a future date in totalization data by a time recorder.

A time recorder application program to be installed in a computer is configured so that it is possible to perform data writing corresponding to a future date in time recording data read from a time recorder to the computer. When time recording data (a) of the time recorder are fetched the next time, the written or corrected data of data (b) at the computer side are protected from being overwritten with the time recording data. Also, the data at the computer side are inhibited from being overwritten with blank data at the time recorder side. Thus, it is possible to preliminarily write setting such as the change of scheduled paid holiday or duty shift, and it is unnecessary to perform any subsequent correcting operation, and it is possible to prevent the correcting operation from being centralized on one time.
