Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating bismuth electrolytic slime, in which damage or an environmental load of treating equipment is favorably prevented.SOLUTION: The method for treating the bismuth electrolytic slime includes: a step 1 of leaching the bismuth electrolytic slime with hydrochloric acid; a step 2 of separating the leaching solution obtained by the step 1 into a post-leaching solution and a leaching residue with solid-liquid separation; and a step 3 of adding an alkali solution to the post-leaching solution obtained by the step 2 to adjust it to pH 3.5 to 8.5, thereby producing bismuth hydroxide.
