Abstract:
To provide a method for efficiently and easily recovering copper from copper converter dust.
In the method for treating copper converter dust, at least copper sulfide comprised in copper converter dust is recovered by a grain size difference, then, coarse grains of ≥10 μm are charged to a copper refining furnace, fine grains finer than 10 μm are treated in the other stage, and the charge of copper to the copper refining furnace is selectively repeated.
