Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a heavy metal-contaminated soil using iron-containing grains having high effect even to fine-grained fraction and also capable of reducing a treatment load upon collection of the iron-containing grains.SOLUTION: Provided is a treatment method comprising: a first classification step where contaminated soil-containing slurry is classified; a second classification step where the slurry is further classified; a third classification step where the soil separated in the second classification step is further classified to separate the soil with a prescribed grain size or larger; a mixing step where at least a part of the slurry passed through the second classification step, the soil from which the soil with a prescribed grain size or larger has been separated in the third classification step and iron-containing grains are mixed to prepare slurry; and a magnetic separation step where the iron-containing grains are separated from the slurry by a magnetism, and further including a first regulation step where an extraction agent is added to the slurry involved in the first and second classification steps.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
