Abstract:
PURPOSE: To melt an incineration ash at a high temp. while minimizing the consumption of electric energy, to reduce the volume sufficiently and to make heavy metal as high-b.p. harmful matter harmless by maintaining the theoretical combustion temp. TFT at the tip of a tuyere for blowing incineration ash at a specified temp. CONSTITUTION: A packed bed 2 is formed in a vertical melting furnace 1, the carbonaceous material and coarse incineration ash are delivered respectively from raw material tanks 5 and 6, passed a through a pressure-equalizer hopper 9 and charged into the furnace. The incineration ash is delivered to a powder blowing device 10 from a raw material tank 3 and blown into the upper tuyere 11 of the furnace. In this case, the theoretical combustion temp. TFT shown by the following expression at the tuyere tip is controlled to <=2200 deg.C. Namely, TFT=A/B, A=(VB-VO)×(0.337.-TB+605.4)+VO×(0.493.TB+271.3)+(VB×- VB)/18000×(0.628.TB+260120), B=(0.411(VB-VO)+13.8935×(VB×MB)/18000+0.492×VO), where VB is the blast amt., TB is the blast temp., MB the blast moisture content and VO the enriching oxygen amt.
