Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a recombinant virus or plasmid comprising a polynucleotide encoding IL-10, operably linked to expression control elements, to result in expression of said polynucleotide in vivo, for treating existing neuropathic pain in a mammalian subject by administering said recombinant virus or plasmid to the central nervous system of said subject to reduce pain.
