Abstract:
According to the problem to be solved, provided is a power generation sailing ship, which comprises: a sail provided on a deck; a water turbine; a power generator operated by the water turbine; and an energy storage device for directly storing electric energy generated by the power generator or converting the electric energy into energy of a substance and storing the substance. Moreover, a relative water current decelerated in the rear of the water turbine is effectively used to improve propulsion performance of a ship. According to the solution, the power generation sailing ship comprises: a sail provided on a deck; a water turbine installed to protrude to the front from a stem; a power generator operated by the water turbine; and an energy storage device for directly storing electric energy generated by the power generator or converting the electric energy into energy of a substance and storing the substance.
