Abstract:
To properly visualize a scarfing failure of a surface of a steel cast piece by a simple method.SOLUTION: A method for visualizing a scarfing failure at a surface of a steel cast piece includes imaging a surface of a steel cast piece becoming a surface temperature of 400°C or more and 900°C or less after scarfing with an imaging device using a CMOS sensor as an imaging element to visualize a scarfing failure at the surface of the steel cast piece.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
