Abstract:
Use of polyorganosiloxanes having 3 or more siloxane units, an organic component and a hydrocarbon component, as additive in the processing of rubber, is claimed. Use of polyorganosiloxanes having 3 or more siloxane units, R 1> and R 2> residues, as additive in the processing of rubber, is claimed. R 1> : one or more organic component with one or more carbon-carbon multiple bond; and R 2> : one or more 5-50C-hydrocarbon component. Independent claims are included for: (1) the polyorganosiloxanes having 3 or more siloxane units, where the polyorganosiloxane has R 1>, which is derived from cyclohexene or (meth)acrylate; (2) a master batch comprising one or more rubber and one or more polyorganosiloxane; (3) a mixture comprising one or more solid carrier material and one or more polyorganosiloxane; (4) a process for the vulcanization of rubber comprising peroxidic vulcanization of a vulcanization mixture comprising one or more peroxidic crosslinkable rubber, one or more peroxidic vulcanization agent and one or more polyorganosiloxane; and (5) the vulcanized rubber obtained by the above method.
