To provide a convenient and sanitary packaging method for a compression cotton, that is a compressed laminated cotton, by which the packaging container can be used as it is even if a laminated cotton packaged in a small exclusive volume is restored to the original volume after opening, when in use.

In a cylindrical package, one end of which is closed and in which the compression cotton is stored with cotton put in from the other end, the packaging method includes a combination of the processes in which the cotton is laminated or the laminated cotton A is inserted into the package 1, the laminated cotton A inserted in the package 1 is compressed to a predetermined compression dimension X, one or a plurality of closing lines B are provided by a thermobonding at a higher position than the upper surface a of the compressed laminated cotton A in the package 1 and a closing line B' to close the upper end b of the package 1 is bonded by heat at the same time as the former thermobonding or separately.
