This hub for a race bicycle is furnished with first and second end parts respectively having front surfaces 11, 12, and a first set cavity 13 and a second set cavity 15 respectively corresponding to the first and second end parts to respectively mount a first set spoke 2 and a second set spoke 3 are bored on the first and second end parts. The front cavity of a first set is bored to cross the whole of the first end part along the radial direction of the hub while the cavity of a second set is bored to cross the whole of the second end part by inclining against a radial direction line of the hub.
