Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency and reduce weight by reducing coil diameter and strengthening the rigidity of a shaft, by providing a polar member by deviating the magnetic flux from a permanent magnet rotor to a coil core body, densely arranging coils around the shaft line of hub, and by forming the coil core as part of axis line. CONSTITUTION: A rotor is formed by arranging a permanent magnet 3 magnetized in a radial direction on the inner peripheral surface of a tubular member 2 with alternate polarity. On the other hand, a stator comprises a coil 6 wound round a coil main body 5, a coil core 7, and two pole members 8, 8' deviating the magnetic flux from the permanent magnet rotor to coil core 7. Here, coil 6 is widely wound round bearings 11, 11' tightly in contact with the shaft 9. Also, coil core 7 and 2 pole members 8, 8' are fixed to the shaft 9 by tightening screws 10, 10', thereby reinforcing the coil core 7 and pole members 8, 8'. Thus the rotor inner diameter is made larger than the outer diameter of the coil, and the highly efficient hub generator can have a light weight.
