Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hub nut holding mechanism for an automobile capable of expediting and facilitating wheel changing of the automobile, particularly of the automobile dedicated to an endurance race.
SOLUTION: A hub nut holding mechanism comprises, a circular base 1 having a mounting hole 8 for an automobile wheel, a hollow tube 2 standing up from the circular base 1 integrally therewith, which occupies a part corresponding to a hub bolt insertion hole, and a hub nut 5 composed of a swelling part 6 which is inhibited from being projected outwardly by a reduced-diameter hole 4 on a head of the hollow tube 2 and provided on its end face with a screw to be screwed into the hub bolt, and a relatively long hexagon tubular body 7 projecting outwardly from the reduced-diameter hole 4.
