Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict the poor circularity of an outer ring raceway surface even if a wheel, including a steel wheel, with the whole periphery put in no contact with a brake disc in the assembled condition is bolted to the brake disc.
SOLUTION: This hub unit bearing wherein a hub having a flange portion 12 formed with a plurality of female screws for bolting a wheel 8 is integrated with an outer ring 1 comprise a low rigidity portion 13 formed at the base inside a female screw formed position of the flange portion 12 so that the flange portion 12 is deflected mainly at the low rigidity portion 13 to restrict the deformation at a position of formation of an outer ring raceway surface when the wheel 8 is tightened to the flange portion 12 with bolts 6.
