To mount a pedestal with high supporting rigidity on a hull without causing an increase in weight by providing a plastic layer covering the surface of a floating body and the surrounding parts of the floating body in the hull and providing a plastic pedestal which is adhered by being superposed on the plastic layer in the vicinity of the floating body.
In a hull 2 forming a hull of a small-sized planing boat 1, a floating body 12 is adhered to the bow part on the inside upper surface and both the sides in the vessel width direction. This floating body 12 is fixed to the hull 2 by fiber reinforced plastic cover 13. In the cover 13, a flange 14 extending from the side surface of the floating body 12 to the side or the back and forth directions of the hull along the upper surface of the hull 2 is formed around the floating body 12 without interruptions and a flange 19 of a pedestal 15 is adhered to the flange 14 located at the inside of the floating body 12 by being superposed. The pedestal 15 has a mounting seat 16 for engine mount, a mounting seat for fuel tank fixing hardware and the flange 19 of the outer peripheral part and is adhered to the inside of the range surrounded by the floating body 12 on the hull 2 by adhesive.
