Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make one side at the center-of-gravity side of the hull deeply submersible, by relatively moving a hull of gravity and a center of buoyancy in the ship width direction based on hull from or the like, making them secure the required draft, and at the time of light loading, making the hull center of gravity and the center of buoyancy both eccentric to the ship width direction. CONSTITUTION:A section of the hull is formed so as to cause a hull center of gravity G and a center of buoyancy F to be situated on the same vertical line at the ship width direction center at the time of full load, whereby a bottom part 1 comes to horizontality and the whole hull 2 is designed so as to be floated in horizontality. And, at the time of light load, the hull center of gravity G and the center of buoyancy F are made to be eccentric in the ship width direction with each other and formed into a form so as to produce a couple M, while a part of a bottom part 1 at the side of the center of buoyancy F is exposed on a water surface, and a part of a ship side part 3 at the side of the center of gravity G is deeply submerged, thus the hull 2 is designed so as to be floated in a tilted state. With this constitution, even at the time of light load, the hull is maintainable to be required draft.
