Title:
HUMAN ACCESS SPOT AIR CONDITIONER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3214032
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable the detection of abnormality which may occur at the time of latching background information into a microcomputer by determining the occurrence of abnormality in case where the time required for turning human detecting sensors at a turning angle, which becomes a reference time for turning the sensors within the whole following-up range, does not coincide with a predetermined value.
CONSTITUTION: Ultrasonic wave sensors 10, 11 are turned by the control of an outlet port turning motor to form a detection range outside a background and, when users are present in this range, a microcomputer controls the air outlet port turning motor to direct an air outlet port 3a to the users. On the other hand, the microcomputer measures the time required for turning the ultrasonic wave sensors 10, 11 at a turning angle, which becomes a reference time for turning the sensors 10, 11 within the whole following-up range. When the measured value does not coincide with a preset value, the occurrence of abnormality is determined. Accordingly, abnormality which may occur at the time of latching background information into the microcomputer can be detected.
