Abstract:

To provide a cardiac disease-treating agent containing human amnion-originated mesenchymal cells as an active ingredient.

It was found that undifferentiated human amnion-originated mesenchymal cells could be differentiated into cardiac muscle cells. Thereby, a medicine composition containing the cells as an active ingredient and used for treating cardiac diseases can be provided.
