PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a human body detector that can improve sensitivity and a program used for the human body detector.SOLUTION: A pyroelectric element 2 has a plurality of detection units 24 arranged in a first direction D1. Detection units 24 that are adjacent to each other each have a surface electrode 25 with a different polarity. A lens array 3 has a plurality of lenses 31. A signal processing circuit 4 outputs a voltage signal. A determination section 53 of a determination device 5 outputs a human body detection signal when a first comparison section 51 determines that a level of the voltage signal exceeds a first threshold TH1. The determination section 53 outputs the human body detection signal when a determination time T1 ranging from the time at which a second comparison section 52 determines that the level of the voltage signal exceeds a second threshold TH2 to the time at which the second comparison section 52 determines that the level of the voltage signal exceeds the second threshold TH2 again is within a set time frame for specified multiple times in succession. In the pyroelectric element 2, the length of each detection unit 24 in a second direction D2 perpendicular to the first direction D1 is longer than the length of each detection unit 24 in the first direction D1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
